Polo Fundamentals (Field Ready L1) is a complete introduction to polo theory, designed to equip new players with the knowledge and confidence to step onto the field safely and effectively.

This course recognises successful completion of PoloPrep’s four core modules: Fundamentals of Polo, Ponies & Equipment, Rules of Play & Right of Way, and Player Positions & Strategy. Learners also gain free access to two specialist modules: Module 5: 2025 Updates (USPA & HPA) and Horse Behaviour & Welfare.

This programme is built around the internationally recognised rules of polo, drawing from the frameworks established by the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) and the United States Polo Association (USPA).
